Rock Songbook

7 and increased brightness, quick cup of tea and then off to run. Not a job for the fainthearted, so you need to be fit, healthy and super energy for all those hours on their feet commercial and de-cluttering closets!

7:50 Time for a quick breakfast, shower, then dressed. In general the plan of my computer at night earlier to save time and always take into account the client (s) I'm working with that day. It is obviously important to look the part, but even more, to inspire the customer. High gloss leggings, rock t-shirt and leather jacket combination is not a look that my client in their forties, with a high-powered job in the city a husband and two children can expect and will do nothing to instill confidence in me and my personal skills as a leader (no matter how elegant it is!) to opt for a pair wide white paws and a Chanel inspired jacket in place.

8:40 Just time to catch up on some e-mails. A customer wrote to say thank weeks his last cabinet session, she gets inspired and is keen to book a tent in the near future. A few newsletters are a number of distributors through, so I take a quick look - it is absolutely essential to keep up on current collections and the latest styles to hit the stores.

9 a.m. Head of Oxford Street and is an opportunity to re-read the form on the road customers. This is an important part of the process to help build a client's image, its lifestyle, needs, budget, make a list of major brands and retailers last night and the preparation of our route to save time and make the most match of the day.

10 a.m. Arrive at Selfridges and leave out some elements to begin before the arrival date. After examining the customer form over the phone earlier this week, we agree to focus on a few pieces to update their teams and some new equipment solutions for evenings and weekends.

10:30 Meet up with the customer in agreed place and have a brief chat over coffee to discuss the day and managing their expectations. Fortunately, the client has followed my advice and came in comfortable shoes and clothes in and out quickly for a day less stressful ... we start and head for the department underwear for an adjustment of the fastener. Most customers are in the wrong bra, so this part of the day is important to do well in order to support clothing, create the shape and curves, is often a real eye opener for the customer!

11:15 After buying a pair of fasteners, we move to try on clothes issues put on that morning, a couple of things to buy flatter and inspire customer confidence. While the client is changing, I'm back and forth to the place production with more options for building costumes. I am also the customer's style, explains why certain garments are working for it and how to use them. Occasionally, there will be items that do not work, so again to explain why not deflate the client, and then quickly pass! Fortunately, the client today is very open to new things, however, some struggling to get out of their comfort zone, when I have to use my influence as a stylist to convince them that they do look great change in that purple dress who have never picked up. I note the customer's purchases on the way, for future reference and ensure that we stay within that budget of all important!

14:15 Time flies and successful purchase of most items in the list, so we stop for a snack for eat. It is very important to stop and refuel for the energy levels back up, especially as the client is not used for a long day purchases - is a very tiring climb up and down your clothes! It is also a great opportunity to review the purchases of customers to date and analyze what is available.

14:45 We focus on accessories after lunch, the key elements to pull the eyes so we bought earlier in the day. A couple of different bands styles, shoes and necklace later statement, and we completed our shopping list.

16:00 After making sure the customer is happy and fulfilled on their expectations, sending him home in a taxi, which makes all the shopping bags are taken into account! It's really gratifying to see that the client has a renewed confidence of his new clothing and body image and I can not wait to show her husband and daughters when he gets home!

17:30 Back home, I still to this day with a quick email to the customer. It's been a long day for her with a lot of tips to keep in mind, so take stock of the team builds and tips style we discussed. I also give some suggestions for a stylish weekend bag which he mentioned about the evening.

17:45 Looking ahead, I do a little preparation for the morning client recently lost weight and is very interested in updating their wardrobes with new clothes to flatter your figure and boost your confidence. Just another day in the life of a personal stylist!
