Fly is the latest Dixie Chicks, and I can only think of one word to describe ... AWESOME!
It's a rare day that I get a CD of a artist that I can truthfully say does not have a bad track in the bunch. I am More Than happy to announce that's exactly what I have to say about it. Just do not is an evil in the bunch. No fillers here at all, with each song tall standing on its own.
Fly is a nice variety, a blend of 14 issues that are very well written and brilliantly performed songs by these clearly talented musicians. With many of the songs displaying a large part of the class that makes the thrill of listening to really great. It seems the picture of what I can only imagine are their own real life experiences. At different points touching on the emotions real love, heartbreak, pain, failed relationships and unattainable romance. They're all here.
On the whole fly is a solid version. It is Dixie Chicks may be the best to date. Really sensational from beginning to end. If you are even slightly in country music you will enjoy this CD.
If While the entire CD is really very good some of my favorites are track 2 - If I Fall You're Going Down With Me, song 7 - Do not Waste Your Heart, and track 10 - Some Days You Gotta Dance
My Best Pick, and the pain has [... as in "Stuck On Repeat"] is track 11 - Hole In My Head. This is a great track!
