Jermaine Harbin aka Uncle ILL was born April 5, 1976 in Detroit. Uncle ILL grew up in Detroit. Not only was the testimony of the early stages of Detroit hip hop, participated largely in its infancy. Rica, 16 years of rap, Uncle ILL has earned much respect in the local scene. However, Jermaine Harbin deserves greater recognition nationally and internationally for his numerous collaborations and work very original and varied.
Largely influenced by "movie Breakin 'Ice T, Uncle ILL started rapping at the age of 12 years.

How does that sound?

In fact, it is quite difficult to define uncle sick music. Very open-minded about music, Uncle ILL found his inspiration in artists such as Ice T, George Clinton, NWA, Eminem, Kraftwerk, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many more. With his usual deep voice, the guy talks bad about various topics of domestic disputes, fake thugs, life hood of moving to the suburbs and unusual behavior, just to name a few topics.
Uncle ILL using various instruments and manages to create a sound very dynamic and energetic. I could barely sit while listening to Uncle ILL: most of their songs are an invitation to move your body and dance music.
Sick uncle is not a hardcore rapper, who nevertheless deserves the attention of the listeners for their good work.

Back in the early days of Detroit's hip hop
Uncle ILL has collaborated with many local emcees in the Detroit scene. In the early stages of his career, Jermaine Harbin needed some shock. A friend, Fred, introduced him to Bassmint Manix Productions.
At this point Manix was producing beats for the album Champtown, Crazy escapist Home Check It, an album that appears Uncle ILL.
That's how two young men known as Marshall Mathers, aka Eminem and Dan Carlisle aka Mc Hush crossed the road.
Soon Uncle ILL and Mc Hush join their talent and passion for hip hop and work together on common label Da Ruckus.

Da Ruckus

After his collaborations with local rapper Champtown, Detroit rapper who can actually play an important role in collaborations sick uncle is another veteran on the local scene: Dan Carlisle aka Mc Hush.
Both rappers decided to pool their talents and passion for hip hop and created the legendary label Da Ruckus known as mentioned in Eminem's song Stan.
In 1997, Da Ruckus released an album independently, Quiet As Kept.
Documents Federation decided to invest in the label Da Ruckus and the following year, the label to release an EP Da Ruckus Episode 1.
150 Emcees is a beautiful example of well managed Episode 1 track EP. Da Ruckus Episode 1 is rich in many interesting collaborations with Detroit as Eminem, Swifty of D12, Miz Korona, Mad chemical.
Two singles, "We brightness "in collaboration with Eminem and" We came here to party ", in collaboration with Dale, he would be released in 1998.
In his review of Metro Times, Da Ruckus, Hobey Echlin says about Epidode 1 'Episode1 is not only tight, it's a fairly accurate representation of a day in the struggle. "

One of the main objectives Da Ruckus' was to fight for greater recognition at national level. Da Ruckus musical style is dark and close to the city definitely Esham inspired terror.

Solo career and collaboration with Mad Chemist

After a while, Uncle ILL silence and decided to concentrate so much on their solo careers.
Uncle ILL Mad began working with chemicals in his solo album Ya'll know, that was published in 2001. Mad chemical produced all know.

I highly recommend Le Cho, who is now uncle, stress and Sunday. Uncle ILL CD is full of interesting collaborations with Detroit, including Mad Chemisy, Mc Calla and Miz Corona. I would call a classic Detroit's underground definitely worth your interest.

A rich career is far from over
Besides his numerous collaborations with fellow emcees, the announcements made by several companies like Wireless Toyz, Uncle ILL has also created his own clothing line, Uncle ILL Gear.
On the other , the talented and dynamic Uncle ILL never abandoned his passion for rap, is still active in making their original music. On November 15, 2005, launched a new CD, Undisputed (1996-2006), which can be considered as an anthology of his work and collaborations.
